Once upon a time, in a magical forest, there lived a group of animal friends who loved to play together. They were a fox, a rabbit, a deer, and a squirrel.
One sunny day, the friends decided to have a picnic in a clearing they had found deep in the forest. They each brought something to share, and they laid out a blanket and sat down to enjoy the delicious feast.
As they ate, they heard a strange noise coming from the bushes nearby. They were all a little scared, but the fox bravely went to investigate.
To their surprise, they found a tiny fairy trapped in a spider web! The friends quickly worked together to free the fairy, and she was so grateful that she granted each of them a wish.
The rabbit wished for a carrot patch to call his own, and the deer wished for a field of flowers to play in. The squirrel wished for a cozy nest high up in a tree, and the fox wished for a shiny new tail.
The fairy granted each of their wishes, and they all went home happy and content.
From that day on, the animal friends visited the clearing often, and the fairy would join them for picnics and games. And the fox was the happiest of them all, with his new, shiny tail.
